Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig is never afraid to push the boundaries of fashion. Remember when he wore a capri jumpsuit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!? Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ezra Koenig wowed us again but this time he popped his collar. That’s right, he payed homage to the early 2000s frat boy.
Case in point:
Ezra Koenig always proves himself to be fashion-forward but we can’t say the same for his bandmates. Rostam Batmanglij, Chris Tomson, and Chris Baio all rocked collared shirts during their performance but none of those collars were popped. I guess they’re just not ready to take the popped collar plunge and I don’t blame them.
